A man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly pushed onto the train tracks at a busy Melbourne station.
The incident unfolded at the busy Richmond Station near the Melbourne CBD, just before 4pm on Wednesday.
She was helped off the tracks by members of the public and train network staff.
She sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
A 54-year-old Werribee man was arrested in Southbank on Thursday morning.
He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
